Instructor: Saso/Kathy Saso Intermediate Sushi 201 - Hands On
If you are a sushi fan, and you are eager to take your sushi making to the next level, this is your chance. Chef Saso has been a chef for over 40 years, and his career started in Japan where he worked as a sushi chef for many years and was trained in how to remove poison from blowfish. In this class, you will upgrade your sushi making skills beyond mixing rice to include making inside out eel rolls with avocado outside and spicy tuna rolls, which require a little more attention to detail. You will also learn how to make individual “nigiri” pieces of sushi including tuna, salmon and shrimp. In addition, Chef Saso will teach you how to make a delicious salmon miso soup to accompany your sushi. Take your sushi making to the next level.
