Breakfast and Lunch
This class teaches students how to successfully prepare tasty breakfasts and lunches they will enjoy. The class begins with the students learning a basic muffin method, then how to prep and prepare a vegetarian breakfast burrito. The class will finish with students preparing and assembling a peanut cucumber cold noodle salad and a garlic hummus with raw vegetables. Kettle corn popcorn will be demonstrated. At the end of class students will taste all products made and most likely have leftovers to bring home. This class is appropriate for individuals 8-14 years old.

Allergen / Dietary Notice: The following items will be used in class dairy, gluten, eggs, peanuts, and legumes.
Covid Notice: Please note all classes will be limited to 10 students, tables will be spaced according to guidelines. Gloves and masks will be required for all students.
About Caitlin: Since graduating from Schenectady County Community College culinary program, Caitlin has worked at several area restaurants. She is a former sous chef for the award winning restaurant Yono’s/DP’s An American Brasserie. She has also worked for The Flammerie, Taste, and The Gingerman. Besides the Capital Region, Caitlin has worked at farm to table restaurants in Alaska and Hawaii. She is passionate about locally-sourced cuisine and practicing sustainability in her cooking. Caitlin now works as the head brunch chef at Nighthawks restaurant in downtown Troy.
