Kids Pizza Night: How To - Hands On
This class will teach students how to make a full pizza night menu. Each student will be able to make, assemble, and bake their own pizza. A variety of toppings will be prepared as well as a salad with a homemade vinaigrette. Students will also make an easy 5 step dessert to be enjoyed in class or taken home. Leaving this class students will be able to share their pizza making skills at home as well as prepare two side dishes. This class is appropriate for individuals 8-14 years old.
- Personal pizza with assorted topping
- Mixed green salad with carrots and cucumbers, Italian dressing
- Oreo cookie balls
Allergen / Dietary Notice: This class will include the following items gluten, dairy and meat.
Covid Notice: Please note all classes will be limited to 10 students, tables will be spaced according to guidelines. Gloves and masks will be required for all students.
About Caitlin: Since graduating from Schenectady County Community College culinary program, Caitlin has worked at several area restaurants. She is a former sous chef for the award winning restaurant Yono’s/DP’s An American Brasserie. She has also worked for The Flammerie, Taste, and The Gingerman. Besides the Capital Region, Caitlin has worked at farm to table restaurants in Alaska and Hawaii. She is passionate about locally-sourced cuisine and practicing sustainability in her cooking. Caitlin now works as the head brunch chef at Nighthawks restaurant in downtown Troy.
