Cast Iron Cooking

Saturday, March 2, 2019, 11:00am-1:30pm, Instructor: Deanna Fox

There is a reason Grandma always had a cast iron skillet on the stove: Cast iron is time-tested, easy to use and maintain, and can cook just about anything. No kitchen is complete without a trusted cast iron pan and this class will demonstrate the ways in which cast iron can sear, roast, fry, bake, and saute your favorite foods, including

- Skillet-smashed potatoes with rosemary

- Caramelized onions

- Reverse sear pepper-crusted steak

- Honey butter cornbread

- Tarte Tatin, a classic French dessert

Allergy and Dietary Warning:This class uses products with dairy, gluten, meat and egg
