On the cusp of summer solstice, come join us on Flag Day to celebrate a true taste of Americana. Chef Ric Orlando will guide students through perfect summer recipes that will become essential for pot lucks, family gatherings, or just a warm summer dinner on the back deck. Recipes include:
- Mussels in beer with lemongrass and tarragon
- Sausage, potato, and corn hobo packs
- Memphis-style barbecue beans
- Horseradish slaw
- Berry-berry crisp

About Ric: Chef Ric Orlando is a former rocker-turned-chef who is best known for his New World Home Cooking restaurant and oversees the kitchen at New World Bistro Bar, in Albany. He is a cookbook author, radio personality, and former TV host. He is often referred to as, "the pioneer of Hudson Valley farm-to-table."
