Intro to Sausage Making

Making sausage at home can be a simple endeavor that is filled with flavor. Whether you make tight links, pressed patties or loose crumbles, homemade sausage is only minutes away with the tips from this hands-on sausage class. Chef Rob Handel will teach the artistry of sausage making, including:


- Technique, safety, tools and ingredients


- Demonstration of sausage styles for students to try in-class


- Maple-chipotle breakfast sausage for students to take home

About Rob:Rob Handel is a lifelong cook who currently works as the chef for Heather Ridge Farm in Preston Hollow. He specializes in foraged cooking and complete field-to-feast dining.
