February Break Kids Camp - Friday

Friday, February 22, 2019 9:00am-1:00pm Instructor: Caroline Barrett


Get out of the cold and into our kitchen this February! Break up the winter blues by giving kids a turn in our kitchen, where they will learn valuable knife (and life!) skills while concocting delicious recipes together with Caroline and Kathy. From sushi to ice cream sandwiches, your child will leave our camp well-versed in various cuisines. (Best suited for children age 8 to 14.)


Monday: Homemade flour tortillas and quesadilla, Indian butter chicken, banana chocolate strudel


Tuesday: Sushi, homemade pasta, frozen hot chocolate


Wednesday: Korean dumplings, chicken shawarma, Italian grissini


Thursday: French onion soup, savory crepes, risotto with sausage and tomato, cream puffs


Friday: Pad Thai, pizza frites, brownie cookie ice cream sandwiches


 


Allergy and Dietary Warning: This class uses products with meat, corn, soy, gluten,  dairy, and egg.

About Kathy:Kathy co-founded Saso’s Japanese Noodle House with her husband, Yasuo. She currently teaches English as a Second Language in Albany and has been teaching cooking classes for over 15 years.
