Seafood Appetizers - Hands-On

Want to prepare some appetizers this holiday season but still want time to spend with guests? This class on seafood appetizers -- perfect for your own Feast of Seven Fishes celebration this Christmas or for a simple holiday party with friends and family -- will have you stuffing clams, slicing fresh squid tubes, and rolling arancini balls that can all be made ahead of time so you can enjoy the party, too. Students will learn to prepare:


- Clams casino


- Oysters Rockefeller


- Calamari salad


- Baccalaoitos (salt cod fritters)


- Arancini (fried rice balls)

About Rob: Rob Handel is a lifelong cook who currently works as the chef for fin-your fishmonger, in Guilderland. He specializes in seafood, foraged cooking, and complete field-to-feast dining.
