INTERMEDIATE SUSHI -HANDS-ON

This sushi class will take you from traditional fillings and basic rolling techniques to more exotic ingredients, tips and tricks to make the perfect piece of sushi. In this class, students will make:


- Spicy tuna rolls


- Eel rolls with avocado on the outside


- Nigiri pieces of smoked salmon and shrimp


- Create your own sushi

About Yasuo and Kathy: After apprenticing in Tokyo for 12 years, Yasuo Saso came to Albany to invigorate the local sushi scene. He and wife Kathy Saso operated Saso’s Japanese Noodle House, a revered Albany landmark.
